    SIMPSONWOOD

Doesn't this look like just about the best place to be right now ... to get away from all the snow and freezing cold temperatures? The view from my windows looks beautiful here in my new home in New England with the fresh snowfall earlier this week. We finally had snow that coated the trees and ground making it look like a Winter Wonderland.

I must admit, I'm such a newbie here in the Berkshires, snow is still magical to me. However, when all my friends are reminding me of the gorgeous early spring they are enjoying this year in the Pacific Northwest with temps in the 60's and days filled with sunshine, I do find myself searching for even one little purple crocus to be brave enough to poke its tiny head up through the snow one of these days.

Anyway, I'm on the plane headed there right now for a weekend of teaching and chatting with fellow Statler owners.

    I will be teaching 3 classes ...

    • Bring Out the Creative Pattern Designer In You
    • Why Learning AutoSketch Is Still A Good Idea
    • Custom Quilting: Tips for Design & Execution

I have some fun class projects planned for us and I'll be posting about those during the next week, but even better ... I've put everything in the store on SALE while I'm away playing in warmer climes. So here's how it works ...

Fill you shopping cart with all the goodies you've just been dying to have and when you get ready to check out there will be a place where you can enter a discount coupon code. This is the critical part. You must enter the code exactly as I have it typed here so it will apply to your final total. No spaces and be sure to use upper case or capital letters for GA. The coupon code will apply a 25% discount off your bill.

    The code is: GA2010

Oh, and one more little detail ... remember I won't be back until next week so if you order product that needs to be shipped I'll be getting those out to you after I return.
