GARLIC HERBED CHICKEN GOODNESS

I must confess, I have a love-affair with mugs and tea cups. Celebrating the seasons with special mugs is one of my ways to treat myself. I saw this mug at Anthropologie last year but didn't get it because it didn't feel right in my hand. I put it back on the shelf and forgot about it.
Eryn I went by Anthropologie on our way home from the airport. As I wandered the store while she was in the fitting room I was drawn once again to THE CUP. I had totally forgotten about it until Eryn reminded me later.
"Hooray, you finally got your cup!"
I think I'm so ready for sunshine and spring flowers to start poking their heads through the snow there was no hesitating with the cup this year. I love the detailing with the little yellow daisy on the handle and the painted flowers in the bowl of the cup (they match the flowers on the outside of the cup.) Doesn't it look perfect on the fiesta ware saucer in scarlet ... new treasures to find!
And now, for some more goodness from Chef Eryn's kitchen ... her Garlic Herbed Chicken was a mouth-watering taste of heaven for lunch on Wednesday. We had brocolli and baby red potatoes for a side dish and fresh lemon sorbet for dessert.
