INSPIRATION: BOSTON SYMPHONY HALL
Posted by mountaintopquilting on Tuesday, March 9th, 2010
The inspiration: the view from a visit on-stage at Symphony Hall in Boston, Massachusetts. I took these photos during a visit to Boston during 2008 and ran across them recently during an unpacking/organizing session after our recent move. (Will I ever have all of those boxes unpacked with contents sorted and organized? sigh ...)
It's time to do some designing and digiziting with these wonderful motifs.

Coming to understand a painting or a symphony in an unfamiliar style, to recognize the work of an artist or school, to see or hear in new ways, is as cognitive an achievement as learning to read or write or add.
