Welcome to Mountaintop Quilting Studio

This is where you find me exploring a variety of creative adventures mostly about but not limited to quilting. I'm a firm believer that one increases their creativity by being open to and playing with a variety of cretative endeavors ... at least that my excuse for today. Enjoy your sourjourn through my studio playroom. May you find encouragement and inspiration, and on occassion, a little pin-prick that may be thought-provoking or spark your imagination. Thank you for stopping by.

    TEA N CHOCOLATES

    pause and reflect

    happy and content

    self love and indulgent

Men have their ice fishing ... but us women ???

Care to join me on the deck for a few minutes of quiet conversation while wrapped in cozy flannel quilts while we watch Miso try desparately to catch every snowflake before it hits the ground.

What shall we talk about ...

    • grandkids, family, friends who couldn't be with us today
    • good books you've read lately
    • what quilt are you working on for you right now
    • a customer quilt that you finished that made you proud
    • what other creative things are you doing
    • found any good recipes lately
    • inspriation you found in an unexpected place
    • whatever's on you mind

Post your bit of the conversation in the comment box.

Keep learning ... Keep Creating ... Keep it Fresh

    • I'm working on "primitive garden" by Lisa Bongean of Primitive Gatherings. It's a BofM from Pioneer Quilts, but I'm changing it up quite a bit, and really enjoying all the hand work, especially because too much machine piecing makes me quite dizzy these days. It was a wonderful discovery that hand work does not contribute to my dizziness!!! Rediscovering knitting has also been fun. And discovering yoga has been the best thing that has happened to me in the last year.
